The Story behind the Little Blue Library

This Little Blue Library was built in honor of Dorsey “Paw Paw” Wolfe by Kevin (son of Paw Paw) and his wife Tammy Wolfe. This library is made of recycled and left over construction materials that Paw Paw had.

It is said that Paw never threw anything away he might be able to use “someday” and we painted it his favorite color, blue! Paw Paw Wolfe was a man of few words.

At an early age Paw Paw had to exit school to help take care of his siblings. As a result he had limited reading skills but managed to construct amazing things with his incredible wood working skills. His talent is seen through many parts of this area.

“It seemed appropriate to build this Little Blue Library so we can share his memory with all that use the library.”

Come by to see it and pick up a great read! Looking for help getting more kids books donated.
